Growing up above the family funeral home, Joe developed a deep connection to the profession from an early age. He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Funeral Service from Mid-America College and in Non-Profit Administration from Buffalo State University, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina. He worked for 20 years as a non-profit executive in Buffalo, NY, before transitioning into funeral service management with Foundation Partners Group.
Joe recently transitioned from Anderson Funeral Home in Beaufort, South Carolina to join SCI/Dignity Memorial as Area Manager of J.E. Foust & Son, Keller's Old Town, and Rolling Oaks Funeral Homes in DFW region. In addition to being a Licensed Funeral Director and Pre-Need Insurance Counselor, Joe is a proud member of NFDA, TFDA, CANA, ICCFA, OGR, ADEC and serves as a distance learning adjunct professor for Pierce Mortuary Colleges. Joe and his husband, James, have a son, Antonyio, who will be starting college at University of North Texas College of Engineering this winter.
