Having received her bachelor's in psychology from the University of North Florida, she made a move across the country and earned her master's in applied psychology with a focus on teaching higher education. When she's not teaching for the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, she is working in preventative Alzheimer's disease research. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, weightlifting, and rock climbing. She rescued two amazing dogs, a great pyrenees/retriever mix named Synapse and a Coonhound named Olive.
