Decedent Care Driver

The University of North Texas Health Science Center is currently hiring part time mortuary student positions for 2nd and 3rd shift during the week and 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift on weekends. This position would be up to 20 hours a week to start out. However, we are flexible with our schedule so students can work as little as one day a week if desired. The position does have the potential to become a fulltime position eventually for the right candidate. Starting pay for this position is $13.00 an hour.

Students would assist with taking death calls and transporting donors from the place of death to the University. Students would also assist with weekend training courses helping to set up surgical equipment and specimens and breaking the course down when the doctors are finished. No prior removal experience is required. Applicants must have a clear driving record, no felony convictions and must be able to pass a drug test.
