Funeral Director

Qualifications:
- Completion of, or enrollment in a mortuary program
specializing in funeral service or mortuary science.
- All licensing requirements in Texas as mandated by each state board (Must Have or Completed)
- Knowledge of computers and software and ability to multitask and set priorities
- High level of compassion and integrity, good communication skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Preferred: Bi-lingual Spanish/English

Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to help client families following the loss of a loved one
- Learn to arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized, and caring manner that is consistent with company policies and procedures
- Ensures all files and paperwork are timely and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assist at the chapel and church services and participate in special functions
- Ensures all files and paperwork are timely and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations
- Works on-call/first call, as needed
- Utilizes systems to review merchandise options, enter contracts, and complete necessary forms
- Directs employees to ensure they meet a high standard of professionalism and service level
- Participation in community events, groups, and/or organizations
- Willingness to participate in growing market share through community involvement
