We are seeking an Area Operations Director, Funeral in Miami, FL. The Area Operations Director is a strategic business partner who directs and leads operations for multiple funeral homes, by selecting, training and motivating all staff to deliver above and beyond client expectations. Additionally, the Area Operations Director drives growth and profitability in a specific market in order to achieve revenue and case volume goals with a focus on sustainable profitable growth.
Responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills
• Extensive local travel is required for this position.
• Self-motivated with the ability to think strategically and work independently
• Ability to be an effective leader and to handle challenging situations with confidence
• Business acumen and problem-solving analysis.
• Strong financial and budgeting skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements & Experience:
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• 5+ years of experience in the funeral profession with understanding of both sales and operations management
• 2+ years of management experience
• Working proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point)
• Bilingual (Spanish - English)
Preferred Education & Experience:
• Bachelor or Associate Degree
• Funeral Director License
