Veronica M. Welling has been in funeral service since her graduation from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2008. This journey took her to the Eastern Shore of Maryland where she practiced for 7 years. In 2016, she and her husband, James, moved to the Dallas area. Once settled, Veronica worked for Laurel Land Funeral Home and Memorial Park until March of 2018 where she requested to be transferred to the Dallas Care Center where she worked until January 2021. In early 2021 she decided to try a new path in education, starting at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in July 2021. Ms. Welling will be teaching Sociology, Funeral Service Counseling, and Restorative Art.
