Renee King

Admissions Represenative

Renee’ King serves as the Admissions Representative at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Services, where she assists prospective students throughout the enrollment process. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Capella University and brings a strong understanding of diverse learning styles, along with a compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting new students.

Before joining the Dallas Institute of Funeral Services, Renee’ worked at UT Southwestern Medical Center as the Graduation Coordinator for Biomedical Sciences. In that role, she supported postdoctoral scholars and doctoral candidates throughout their academic journeys, helping them successfully complete their programs and advance their contributions to the scientific community.

Outside of work, Renee’ is the proud mother of two accomplished adult daughters and the grandmother of an adult grandson, a teenage granddaughter, and her beloved grand pup, Rugby. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially gathering for brunch after church. Renee’ is passionate about helping others succeed and is committed to supporting students as they begin their educational journey and work toward achieving their professional goals.
