Jacqueline Dunn

Faculty Member

Jacqueline is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, where she currently resides with her
husband. She earned a Master of Arts in English from the University of Central Arkansas
and began her teaching career in Vilonia, where she taught for six years. She then taught at
the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts for seven years before
transitioning into a statewide leadership role as a literacy curriculum coordinator,
providing professional development and instructional support to K–12 educators across
Arkansas. In 2011, Jacqueline moved to Florida’s Treasure Coast and returned to the
classroom at Indian River State College.
In 2015, Jacqueline pursued a new professional path in funeral services. She joined a
funeral home in St. Lucie County, Florida, and earned an Associate of Science in Funeral
Services from St. Petersburg College in 2017. While continuing her work as a licensed
funeral director and embalmer, she became an adjunct instructor at St. Petersburg
College in 2021.
Jacqueline joined the adjunct faculty at Dallas Institute in January 2026. She and her
husband have five adult children and one grandson.
