I am a sociology professor and adjunct online instructor based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I hold both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado, as well as a Master of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in cybersecurity. Having taken many online courses myself, I am passionate about creating engaging, accessible, and meaningful learning environments for my students.

Outside of the classroom, I am a dedicated wife and proud mother of three daughters, who inspire me daily with their energy and curiosity. I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new foods, and embracing spontaneous adventures. I am an avid reader with a strong passion for lifelong learning, and I also enjoy watching films and television in my downtime. My home is shared with two beloved dogs, a pitbull rescue and a French bulldog, who bring plenty of joy and liveliness to our lives.

In both my professional and personal life, I strive to bring enthusiasm, warmth, and a genuine appreciation for connection and discovery into everything I do.
