Brittany Stallings is an instructor at Dallas Institute of Funeral Service with a passion for educating and mentoring the next generation of funeral service professionals. Originally from Oklahoma, she earned her Bachelor of Mortuary Science from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2020. After beginning her career in funeral service, she went on to earn a Master of Science in Community Counseling followed by an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Mental Health Counseling.
Having spent most of her career in funeral service, Brittany has cultivated extensive experience in embalming, combining technical proficiency with a commitment to providing dignified and compassionate care. From an early age, she has been driven by a passion for helping others. Her unique background in both funeral service and mental health counseling provides her with a well-rounded perspective on grief, loss, and the importance of compassionate care. She is committed to preparing future funeral service professionals with the technical knowledge, ethical standards, and interpersonal skills necessary to serve families with excellence and dignity.
Outside of the classroom, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, and friends, traveling, and exploring new restaurants. She values creating meaningful experiences with those closest to her and believes that lifelong learning, compassion, and service extend beyond the classroom.
