On July 18, 2018  - ICCFA Cremation Crematory Operator Certification Program. The only training of its kind in the industry! In the Dallas area? The cremation certification training will take place at Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, so you -or anyone from your business- can attend.  It’s not about running the crematory machine—it’s about helping families make better choices and your company not “losing” revenue vs. traditional burial. Dallas Institute of Funeral Service provides ConEd for its funeral service community while our students receive specialized training from national industry experts as part of the curriculum.

CREMATORY OPERATOR / Wednesday, July 18, 2018 / 8:00 a.m.

Learn how to operate a crematory retort properly and effectively and limit the liability for you and your company. This extensive training curriculum includes an explanation of professional & incinerator terminology; a discus­sion on the principles of combustion and incinerator criteria & design; an in-depth look at the basics of operating crema­tion equipment and their general maintenance and how to troubleshoot common problems; an overview of cremation and its impact on the environment; examples of standard crematory forms and the importance of record keeping; proper steps for identification; exposure control, and liability concerns and risk management. Operator Certification and up to 7.5 hours CEU credit approval pending*

The ICCFA Crematory Operator Certification program is presented by ICCFA cremation coaches Poul Lemasters, Esq., and Larry Stuart, Jr., Crematory Manufacturing & Service, Inc

The courses are good for Continuing Education AND Operator Certification*. Continuing education must be filed with your state, and to earn your operator certification, you must take and pass an on-line test. Once scores have been verified, you will receive your Cremation Arranger and/or Crematory Operator Certificate in the mail.
