All Pierce Mortuary College (currently enrolled) students have been given scholarships from Implant Recycling and Wilbert to attend the Cremation ARRANGER Program at no cost!

This training is focused on the specific skills required for serving the cremation family from the beginning of the relationship until the end. It will focus on awareness for funeral professionals in dealing with the unique needs, expectations and misconceptions that families choosing cremation present in all aspects of arrangement and service. You will be given tools for effectively and confidently becoming a professional guiding presence for the cremation family, how to articulate value and service options, how to avoid legal issues, and how to create meaningful ceremonies.

Cremation isn’t a bad thing, it’s just a different thing. You are taught how to make arrangements within your college program – hear from the experts – how to work specifically with cremation families.  Cremation Arranger training is designed to give our students new tools to better understand the families choosing cremation. Learn the basics of cremation so you can explain it to your families. Learn how to talk with families that ‘think’ they don’t want a service or don’t want the typical religious service. Learn how to interpret your local demographics and generational differences and why these matter when it comes to cremation. Understand that there is more to pricing than being the lowest and how to compete with the lowest. Experience actual first calls from cremation shoppers, and learn what you should and shouldn’t be saying. And of course, find out how the potential liabilities can actually be used to help in the arrangement process. Overall, this program will make you better at what you already do.
