This course is an introduction to the basic theories of accounting and the application of theories in preparation of accounting records and financial statements. Additional emphasis is placed on accounting for the single proprietorship type of business organization.
Dallas Institute of Funeral Service campus will be CLOSED for on-campus operations from 1/25/26 through Friday 1/30/26 due to inclement weather. All classes will be held online as scheduled. Students should log in to their courses and follow their instructors’ guidance for virtual instruction.
