Browerville, MN is a small town in central Minnesota, with small town living. It offers beautiful landscapes, and lots of trails for walking, biking and hiking. Local lakes for activities, parks, and a local K-12 school with small classroom sizes. Ample hunting and fishing areas and so much more. We are two hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul, the same distance from Moorhead/Fargo, and 30 minutes from the I94.
We are seeking a licensed Mortician or Funeral Director to help serve our families. In this position, you will guide families through every stage of the funeral planning journey, providing compassionate support and understanding during a difficult time. Responsibilities include coordinating arrangements with dignity and professionalism, leading services, and ensuring exceptional standards of care are maintained. Job/ Employee Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate funeral and memorial services, ensuring each ceremony reflects the wishes and traditions of the family. Offer compassionate guidance and personalized assistance throughout the planning and decision-making process. Perform preparation and care of the deceased for visitation and services, including embalming and restorative or cosmetic procedures when required. Ensure all funeral home operations adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. Foster positive relationships within the community by engaging with local organizations and supporting outreach initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Current Funeral Director license in the respective state, or willing to obtain. Degree in mortuary science from an accredited program.
Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate effectively with grieving families. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $60,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience.
