Yvette Alexis is thrilled to begin her new role at PMC as Lead Academic Advisor. In this capacity, she will collaborate closely with the advising teams at Gupton-Jones and Mid-America while leveraging more than 25 years of experience in higher education to help establish and advance a consistent standard for student success across Pierce Mortuary Colleges. Yvette is looking forward to partnering with academic deans, admissions, and faculty to strengthen student outcomes and institutional effectiveness.
Outside of work, Yvette enjoys live music, comedy, and community service. She serves as Immediate Past President of her alumni national board of directors and currently as Development Chair.
Mentoring high school young women is especially meaningful. Yvette emphasizes the importance of character and reputation over social media validation and brings a distinct New Orleans energy and celebratory spirit to everything I do.
