Zaneta started her career as an Office Coordinator for a large staffing firm. She quickly moved up to Recruiter and On-site Manager managing over 150 temporary employees. It was through the staffing firm that she learned of a large family foundation. She started working at The Meadows Foundation in 2008 and worked with nonprofit organizations in their applications for grants with the foundation. Through her experience, she assisted with grant research and reporting, scholarships, and business operations. After her time at the Foundation, she continued her career in the nonprofit realm, working in various sections such as development, fundraising, strategic planning, administration, and operations. She came to the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in February 2023 as a Financial Aid Advisor, but her heart was to work closely with the students, and she became the Academic Coordinator in July 2023.
Dallas Institute of Funeral Service campus will be CLOSED for on-campus operations from 1/25/26 through Friday 1/30/26 due to inclement weather. All classes will be held online as scheduled. Students should log in to their courses and follow their instructors’ guidance for virtual instruction.
