This course includes a study of management and employee motivation theories, funeral home management requirements, hiring and termination requirements and understanding trends in funeral service. It includes a concise study of crematory policies and operation principles.
Dallas Institute of Funeral Service campus will be CLOSED for on-campus operations from 1/25/26 through Friday 1/30/26 due to inclement weather. All classes will be held online as scheduled. Students should log in to their courses and follow their instructors’ guidance for virtual instruction.
